At a time when our world is in turmoil it is also sad day to hear Tommy Lasorda has passed. I feel grateful not only that I got to be in the same room as him but that I got his autograph. This is one of the many reasons I love chasing autographs, I get to meet these marvelous people who work and play in sports.
93 years old though, I hope I have a long and prosperous life that can hold even a little candle to what this man accomplished in his life.
71 years on the job With the LA Dodgers, Two World Series, he was an ambassador for the sport and had the pleasure of watching his team once again win the World Series, just a few short month before leaving this earth for good.
Heart problems may have taken his life at the end but a sound heart is what kept him in our hearts all these years.
